Fire Proof Doors

Material:

Door frames and leaves are made from Galvanized Steel.

Door leaves:

Constructed from 1.2mm Thick Galvanized Steel Sheet formed to provide a 46mm thick fully flush,
Double skin door shell with Lock Seam joints at stile edges. Internal Reinforcements are provided at
top, Bottom and Stile Edges for Fire Rating. The internal construction of the door is a specially
designed Mineral Wool Insulation With reinforcements at top, bottom and stile surrounds. The
internal construction of the door varies with the degree of Fire Rating as tested FOR 2 hrs Fire rated -
138Kg/m3 density mineral wool.

Door frames:
Produced from 1.6mm thick galvanized steel sheet formed to single rebate profile of size
143mm X 58mm. The door frames may be built into the brick or block walls using corrugated "TEE"
anchors not welded to the Frames (First Fix). Frames may also be fixed on plastered openings with
the help of Metallic Expansion Shield with counter sunk screw (Second fix). Door Frames are
supplied to knock-down form with butt joints for bolted assembly at site.

Vision glass:

Fire Rated Vision Glass with 6mm thick clear glass can be provided for a maximum of 2 hours fire
rating. The Vision Glass can be provided in 380mm Dia, Rectangular in standard dimensions of
200mm X 300mm.

Finish:
The door frames and door shutters are primed with Zinc-Phosphate Staving Primer and finished with
Polyurethane Aliphatic grade or epoxy paint as required / Epoxy Polyester powder for powder
coating paint thickness 60-65 Microns (Dry film Thickness).

Ironmongery:
HINGES
Stainless Steel Ball bearing Butt Hinges 3 mm thick fixed flush to the frame and shutter (Profile
102x76x3mm thick)

Lock:
Mortise Sash Lock with Lever Handles, Mortise Dead Bolt, Mortise Latch, Panic Devices etc can be
provided as required.

Flush bolts ( double door):
Concealed extended lever action flush bolts provided on the top of the door to the leading stile edge.

Door Closers:
Doors are made suitable to receive a large variety of Doors Closers.

Options:
Door Coordinator, Smoke Seals for Air tightness, Automatic Door Bottoms etc., can be provided if
required.

Material

Vision Glass
Vision Glass With 6 Mm Clear Float Glass Can Be Provided In Circular, Square Or Rectangular Limitations On Vision Glass (for Non-Standard Sizes): Height Not Exceeding 15550 Mm, Width To At Least 300 Mm Less Than That Of The Shutter Width.

Louvres
Factory Finished And Fixed Metal Louvers (sight Proof Can Be Provided In Square / Rectangular Sizes.Finish

The Door Frames And Door Shutters Are Coated With Zinc Phosphate Primer To Receive Any Paint On Site Or Finished With Thermosetting Polyurethane Paint Of Aliphatic Grade Providing High Levels Of Scratch Resistance And Durability/epoxy Polyester Powder For Coating Paint Thickness 60-65 Microns (dry film thickness)

Lock
